Yamaha DTX Electronic Drums - DTX950K Electric Drums

Yamaha Electronic Drums just got a make-over – big time! Unveiled at the NAMM 2010 show in Los Angeles, the new Yamaha DTX Series has landed, of which the DTX950K Series is the six piece option, with upgraded hex rack. Once again, Yamaha have built upon their experience in acoustic and electric drums, and combined it with the technology borne from the highly acclaimed MOTIF keyboards and mixers. The first upgrade to the popular DTX Series for several years; the DTX950K has arrived, and all of a sudden, the digital drums arena just got more competitive.

• Summary

• New advanced DTX pads feature a textured cellular silicone for the ultimate feel. 
• Six piece electronic drum kit – Snare drum, bass drum, four toms, two crash cymbals and a ride cymbal. (Bass drum pedal not included).
• Snare pad (XP120S) is a 12 inch model, while two rack tom pads employ a 10 inch diameter head (XP100T), and two floor tom pads (XP120T) have 12" diameters.
• The pads are completed with matte chrome hoops, adding strength, and looking great! All pads are positioned via a shock absorbing mounts.
• A new kick pad/bass drum features an updated design, with a toughened bass drum head for added durability and an extra thump!
• 1,115 drum and percussion sounds, including 211 MOTIF voices.
• Includes an on-board digital sampler, USB Connection, Mix In/Out (so you can jam along with your iPod!), and
• HS740A Hi Hats stand, and a super cool upgraded aluminium hex rack system.
