Clinics and Events

At DrumWright, we firmly believe in taking every opportunity to promote drums and percussion, as part of our service to the drumming community. We organise several events each year. These typically take three forms.

  • Clinics... Performance, presentation, and Question and Answer sessions by major artists.
  • Masterclasses... smaller scale events, with attendance restricted to typically 10-20 particpants of a certain level of playing. A top artist will offer instruction, and these events can sometimes be interactive, with participants trying exercises themselves.
  • Exhibitions... Often arranged in conjunction with major drum companies, to demonstrate products, and unveil new ones. These events often feature special artist performances, and workshops.

Gregg Bissonette, Virgil Donati, John Blackwell, Terry Bozzio, Steve White, Mike Portnoy, Steve Smith, Carl Palmer, John Robinson, Louie Bellson, Andy Gangadeen, Chad Smith, Ian Paice, Marco Minnemann, Thomas Lang and Zoro are just a small sample of the drumming superstars that have performed clincs/masterclasses at DrumWright in recent times.

Events will be posted below as we confirm them, and you can also sign-up to the DrumWright e-mail list if you would like to be kept informed. (recommended).
