Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions comply with UK legislation and are designed to ensure that customers can shop with confidence and care with DrumWright. Please print and keep a copy for you reference. These terms and conditions apply only to website sales; different policies apply in-store.

Price

All prices are in £ sterling inclusive of VAT and exclusive of delivery. They will be shown when you place items in your basket. You may pay by any major credit card or debit card. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order.

Availability of Stock

This website is not linked to stock-availability. It is the exception that we are out of stock of items, but when we are, it is usually because our suppliers are out of stock themselves. Protx will only debit your card when we confirm to them that we can fulfill your order. In the event that we are out of stock of any item on your order, we will contact you promptly and offer you several options which may include a full or partial refund (partial if we are able to fulfill some items, but not all), alternative items, or the option to place out of stock items on order. (We will provide you with a lead time).

Pricing Disclaimer

All products are subject to availability, and can be withdrawn at little or no notice. While every reasonable effort is made to ensure accuracy, DrumWright reserves the right to alter, amend or withdraw pricing in the event of misprint or accidental errors.

Returns

'No fault' returns within 7 days – You can cancel your purchase at anytime either before or up to 7 days after delivery of your product by:

  • returning the product to us in person or by post (you must include your receipt with the item) and cover the costs of returning the items to us. We will refund your payment excluding the original carriage fee;
  • e-mail your intention to cancel/return to enquiries@drumwright.co.uk;
  • notifying us by phone on 0118 944 1418 - please have your delivery details to hand;
  • writing to DrumWright at 4 Loddon Vale Centre, Hurricane Way, Woodley, RG5 4UL.

Your product must be complete, unused and in 'as new' condition (eg if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done it without marking the product in anyway). It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories. Pre-recorded DVDs must be sealed. Any 'Free Gifts' received with the product must also be returned.

We make no charge if you return the product to our store in person. If you choose another method you must bear the costs. We will not cancel your purchase when:

  • You return your product without proof of purchase.
  • The goods were a special order to your specification, or an item not usually stocked by DrumWright Limited.

Return of faulty goods

The following are guidelines. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances. Most goods (except consumables like sticks and heads) are guaranteed by the makers against faulty materials or workmanship for twelve months. Some products are guaranteed for longer. While it is at the manufacturer's discretion, we will act as their agents to seek a repair or replacement. We will always offer you the choice of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 28 days of delivery. Please phone us on 0118 944 1418 or return the product to our store.

To qualify for a refund or exchange, the product must be:-

  • in otherwise 'as new' condition;
  • complete with any accessories and free gifts offered with it (and if possible, the original box and packaging).
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase.

The guarantee does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear, nor consumable items (eg drum-sticks, heads etc) unless there is clear evidence of manufacturing fault.

THIS RETURNS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.

Delivery and Carriage Charges

Delivery for on-line purchases is restricted to the Mainland United Kingdom, and some exclusions apply.

Please note: Standard courier charges apply to England, Wales and parts of Scotland. The Highlands and Islands, off-shore islands, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands are all subject to a delivery premium (Highlands and Islands BT, HS1-HS9, IM, IV21-24, IV26-28, IV40-56, KA27-28, KW): please contact us for an accurate quote. Or, if you proceed to check out and you live in one of the postcode areas, we will contact you to arrange payment of the supplement. This is a charge levied by UPS, not DrumWright.

If you are purchasing an item which may be very light in weight, it may be more cost effective for you to call our sales team on 0118 944 1418, and enquire into regular postage. This option is available to you, but you must phone us to arrange this.

All deliveries must be signed for and you should keep your receipt. Delivery times and more details about delivery can be found in our 'Services' section. We will send you instructions for the courier when we confirm your purchase.

Books/DVD only orders are charged at £2.95 (UK) and are dispatched by regular post. They can take 5-7 days to arrive with you. (unless combined with another product where you will then be charged £9.95, and all your goods sent by courier*). * Subject to the above postcode supplements. If you require your books sent by courier, call our sales team on 0118 944 1418, or send an e-mail to enquiries@drumwright.co.uk with your order details and request.

Forum

The views and opinions of participants in the Forum do not represent those of DrumWright Limited, and/or our suppliers. We cannot be held responsible for the content of "SPAMMING", although we will do everything reasonably possible to reduce/limit this type of content.

Competitions

Please note that competition entries are only accepted from residents of the United Kingdom only. Duplicate entries will result in the entry/entries being disqualified. No purchase is necessary. We reserve the right to terminate competitions at little or no notice. Our decision is final. Your e-mail address will be added to our database when you enter a competition. We will not disclose your personal details to anyone else. Competition entries are drawn by random computer selection on the close date - only one person will win.

Raffle Ticket Sales

Only residents of the UK can purchase raffle tickets which are usually sold in conjunction with our events. Winners are drawn at random, and only a set number will win a prize, according to the availability of prizes. Judges decision is final. Raffles can be terminated at little or no notice if affected by events beyond our control.

All images used on this website to accompany product descriptions are for reference only. The image may not represent the product accurately. For example, it may feature six drums when only five are included, a colour that is no longer available, or a cymbal pack which may not be included. We do tell you what is, and what is not included in the Product Summaries.

Miscellaneous

Sales on this web-site are governed by English law and you must agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and only cover the DrumWright web-site. Any other web-sites to which you link from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of web-sites that are not under our control.

These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English and that we do not file copies of customer contracts.
